The Blastrac 600S horizontal shot blaster is a steel shot blasting system that uses steel shot, hardened steel grit or a mixture of both, allowing the operator to achieve a wide range of profiles needed for almost any job type. These systems have no costly pumps to maintain, promote reduced operator fatigue compared to other surface preparation methods, and produce a range of surface profiles through selection of abrasive type.

  • 24” blast pattern
  • Prepares 750 to 2,000 sq. ft./hr.
  • Self-propelled with variable speed control for consistent blast pattern
  • Magnetic separator for increased shot cleaning efficiency, promoting longer wear component life
  • Heavy duty cast liners and wheel blades for long life
  • Floating seal system and short wheel base accommodate uneven surfaces
  • Locate dust collector up to 600 feet from blast head
  • Separate motor on dust collector for thorough removal of dust and debris
  • Eliminate abrasive contamination

Application The Blastrac 600S horizontal shot blaster is used for steel horizontal surfaces such as coating and nonskid removal from ship decks, hatch covers, bridge decks, and drilling platforms.

Blastrac shot blasting is a cost effective and environmentally friendly method for preparing concrete, steel, and asphalt surfaces. This labor and timesaving process strips, cleans and profiles simultaneously.

Shot blasting leaves the surface immediately ready for the application of coatings or overlays, eliminating drying time and costly disposal procedures associated with other surface preparation methods. Shot blasting produces the highest bonding character of any surface preparation method.
