Blastrac Introduces Global Series of EBE Steel Blast Equipment
The Blastrac Global series of EBE Steel Blasters incorporate unprecedented performance and durability from years of outstanding performance around the world. These machines are available in both Horizontal and Vertical configurations, as well as a complete offering of accessories and support rigging to meet the most demanding requirements. With their ability to blast petrochemical, water storage tanks, ships hulls, and decks, including non-skid removal, the Global series is setting new standards for the portable blasting of steel surfaces. Horizontal configurations include the EBE 350E-Global available with a 13" blast pattern and the EBE 500E-Global with a 24" blast pattern. The EBE-350 VH vertical unit offers a 14" blast pattern.
The Global series offers the most effective and environmentally friendly method of removing paint, mill scale and other coatings from steel surfaces. Designed with the ability to utilize steel shot or 100% steel grit or a mixture of both, the user has the ability to achieve a wide range of surface profiles to meet the most stringent surface preparation requirement. Production rates can be as high as 6 times more productive as open air blasting and there is no need for large, costly containment systems as the machines utilizes a highly effective floating seal system. The Global series recycles the abrasive and separates the dust and contaminate for significant reductions in waste disposal. The high performance dual blower dust collection system allows the dust collection unit to be located as far away as 600 feet and allows the other trades working on the project to continue working without interference from the blasting process.
The horizontal machines are able to be disassembled to fit through a standard 24" tank access opening for the cleaning of storage tank interior floors, with quick reassembly using standard tools. All machines utilize heavy duty cast liners, blast wheels and control cages for durability and reduced downtime for maintenance.
